About Me

I am a student at the University of Waterloo in the Hons. Environment and Resource Studies program.  I will be going into my first co-op work term in January, where I will be creating a pilot program inspired by the Redfish School of Change for at-risk and new immigrant students in Toronto.

I am excited to be here at the UNFCCC COP15.  My motivation for attending the conference is mainly to learn from the experiences of others, network, and to make real what I’ve learned in theory.  I have been listening to negotiations in plenaries, attended high-level briefings, networked with international youth, media, and party delegates, and spoken personally to many esteemed individuals who have much to offer in regards to the climate movement.

I hope to bring what I learn back home with the hopes that it will allow me to move forward with more ambitious work in pressuring our own Canada to not even be a leader, but to at least keep its promises to the world and do the bare minimum in the international efforts to mitigate the effects of climate change.
